John Broughton

is an established local solicitor having practised for 25 years in Keighley before joining AWB in October 2006. An old boy of Ermysted’s Grammar School, Skipton, John graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master of Laws degree in 1975. After having a general practice for many years, John now specialises in conveyancing together with wills and probate matters. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Keighley and has extensive contacts with the local business community and voluntary sector in Keighley. John’s roots are in West Craven when Bracewell and Barnoldswick were in the West Riding of Yorkshire. This squares him as a spectator sportsman comfortably supporting Burnley Football Club and Yorkshire County Cricket. His interests are cooking, gardening and his local church. He enjoys dining out in the Forest of Bowland and his favourite holiday destination is Italy.
